ZERO HARMONICS ELIMINATING DEVICE
Zero Harmonics Eliminating Device is For eliminating of the 3 rd or Other triplen harmonic currents from 3 phase-4 wire distribution systems. Harmonic problems are generated by modern office equipments such as personal computer, switch mode power supply or lighting blasts, laser printers, variable speed drives, UPS systems and other electronic equipment have led to harmonics in commercial building. All electronic loads generate positive and negative sequence harmonic currents. Also, single phase electronic loads which connected phase neutral in 3 phase -4 wire distribution system generate zero sequence harmonic currents. Connected in parallel, ZED provides a low impedance alternate path to divert harmonics away from the neutral and upstream transformer, etc.
